Company profile
Polish expertise in delivering energy investments
Bakard Energia Sp. z o.o. was established in 2017 as a continuation of a sole proprietorship operating since 1997. It is a family-owned company with exclusively Polish capital.
We initially operated in the fuel sector (general contracting for Shell filling stations and ongoing refurbishment works at BP stations) and the construction sector (construction of shopping centres and other large-scale buildings). Since 2017, we have offered comprehensive services related to the design and construction of photovoltaic parks (PV, FPV and Agro-PV) and wind farms (WF), including the supply and installation of transformer stations, medium-voltage (MV) connections, GPO and GPZ substations, and energy storage systems.

Projects
Flagship projects
We operate throughout Europe and Asia. Our flagship projects include:
- PV Ourique, Portugal (186 MW), mechanical and electrical installation,
- PV Przykona, Poland (approx. 80 MW), mechanical and electrical installation,
- PV Chotków, Poland (approx. 60 MW), mechanical installation,
- approximately 190 projects, each with a capacity close to 1 MW, completed for various companies in Poland,
- Japan: 6 solar parks, each with a capacity of approximately 25 MW.
- Other completed projects: France approx. 300 MW, Hungary approx. 20 MW, the Netherlands 45 MW, Denmark 78 MW, Germany 800 MW and others.
- Germany: civil works for wind turbine foundations and roads, including electrical and MV infrastructure, and a GPZ substation.
- Poland: construction of two wind farms with a capacity of 4 MW each and one with a capacity of 10 MW, including the supply and installation of a transformer station and construction of an MV line (approximately 10,000 km in total).
- Construction of GPO substations: for an 82 MW PV installation, a 120 MW wind installation, a 60 MW PV installation and the supply of 40 MW energy storage systems,
- Construction of GPZ substations: for a 100 MW wind farm, a 90 MW wind farm, a 70 MW wind farm and others.
- 86 MW wind farm with a GPO substation and a 5.6 km 110 kV cable line.
- 28 MW wind farm with a GPO substation and a 2.4 km 110 kV cable line.
- 18 MW wind farm with a GPO substation and a 7.1 km 110 kV cable line, and others.

Scope of services
Comprehensive investment delivery
Our offering includes the supply and installation of energy storage systems for all types of installations, together with the supply of materials and equipment.
In total, we have installed more than 3 GW of green energy capacity from PV and wind sources.
We deliver entrusted investments under the EPC model (Engineering, Procurement and Construction), i.e. on a turnkey basis – from the design phase, through material selection and supply, to construction, commissioning and handover for operation.
We operate professionally, drawing on many years of experience and a team of specialists: designers (including electrical designers), surveyors, construction managers and contract engineers. We deliver every undertaking from design work, through on-site operations, to energisation and handover for use.

In every country where we carry out installations, we have the accounting support required by local tax authorities and maintain all necessary documentation. We use the services of reputable law firms in Berlin, Cascais, Paris, Hamburg and Lisbon.

Our potential
How We Work:
Design and development of the optimal PV power plant installation solution based on the location and type of land. Selection of the appropriate mounting structure and module capacity according to the Investor’s expectations and financial circumstances. Signing of the relevant agreement.
Preparation of environmental documentation and submission of an application to the power utility company. Compilation of all documentation required to obtain a building permit. Submission of the application.
Once the building permit has been obtained, we analyse the Investor’s financial situation and secure the most suitable source of investment financing from a broad range of available financing options.
Construction of the photovoltaic or wind power installation – at this stage, we build the installation in accordance with the previously prepared design and technical documentation. We work quickly and precisely, while remaining available to the Investor throughout the process.
Commissioning of the installation. At this point, the power plant begins generating and selling electricity.
